I can imagine a big open map with some vehicles (one for each side) that have a mounted gun. Would mix up the gameplay for certain maps. Of course they would be kind of weak when it comes to how much damage they can recieve, and would be very weak to grenades and grenade launchers.
they tried their best, if they changed it too much it wouldn't be Crysis anymore :P
